This is such a great camera as far as features, battery life, touch screen, size. It has 2 SD slots and takes regular AA batteries. It can record in 1080 mode for hours without filling a 16gb card, Incredibly versatile! It is really everything I wanted however it completely fails due to the lens. It has the kind of lens typically found on pinhole type cameras. I cannot recommend it because of this. The quality of videos produced is ok if you just want to capture a moment but when you purchase a full 1080p camcorder you probably are expecting more than the end result this guy puts out. I give it 5 stars for the size and digital features and 1 star for lens/sensor, so giving it 3 out of 5. It simply will not produce good HD videos, particularly where lots of motion is involved

I love to own a toy that has many features then I could show off to my friends. This HP camcorder is my choice because it come with dual SD card slot, 3″ touch screen, dual power source which meant you can use AA battery or rechargeable Li-on battery. And also it supports HD 1080p. It’s quality is also ok for my personal purpose. The video is clear from the 3″ LCD screen and also play well in my notbook. So, I gave it 4 stars based on my experiences for this digital camcorder.

|Please use a faster SD card (class 10) if you can,
People, please use a better SD card if you want a better video. plug one out of your old digital camera probably won’t do the trick for you. Look at the rating on your card, for HD video, you need a class 6 or better (class 10). It is not that much more expensive but you will get a better video. In your camera, it doesn’t matter how quick the SD card works, it may take a bit longer before you can take another picture if you have to wait for the camera to record on your card. But with a video camera, it needs to write continuously onto your SD card and the speed of your card matters. So if your video is jerky etc.., change the card. Hence the different experiences on the reviews here.
